Free public access computers with Internet access are available at all branches of the Hartford Public Library. |
| A Hartford Public Library card is required to use computers in the Library. Non-residents may use either their own valid hometown library card or obtain one issued by the Hartford Public Library; the latter will be valid only at the Hartford Public Library. Even if you live outside of Connecticut, you can still obtain a library card valid at the Hartford Public Library only upon presentation of picture identification with proof of current address. Reservations for a 1 hour session may be made in person using Pharos, the Library's computer reservation system. Express Internet computers are also available for 15 minute sessions. Neighborhood Technology Centers |
| The tech centers, except for the Central Library, are open Monday through Friday ------------and offer computer classes free of charge to city residents. The neighborhood computer program is designed to hook-up residents who don’t have their own home computers. Each Neighborhood Technology Center has workstations available to customers with a valid Hartford Public Library card. |
