Hartford Public Library has a large consumer health collection that includes books from traditional medical points of view to alternative therapies.  We respect that individuals need to have resources from many types of health information providers. Search our Catalog using  words such as menopause, perimenopause, and estrogen therapy.  To search for menopause in fiction, do a subject search: menopause - fiction.

Search the Health and Wellness Resource Center from the library or home to find the latest articles from consumer health magazines and reference books about menopause.  You will need to use your library card barcode as your password from your home or office.

Simply type in the word menopause and you will find, fact sheets, books and articles about the diagnosis, symptoms and treatment for menopause or its precursor perimenopause.

A Woman's Life Center at Blue Back Square is a Hartford Hospital program that provides care, and support for women during every stage of her life including menopause. It is located in the new Blue Back Square area of West Hartford Center.
