Connecticut Pride 2005 This committee is made up of volunteers
from throughout the community and produces events that promote
awareness, tolerance, acceptance, and equality for the LGBTI
community.
Love Makes a Family
is a statewide coalition of organizations and individuals working
for equal marriage rights for same-sex couples in Connecticut.
Metropolitan
Community Church is a gay ministry that holds prayer services at
the Project100/Community Center (see above). MCC Hartford
exists to offer everyone the opportunity to experience the
liberating love of Christ.

True Colors
Sexual Minority Youth and Family Services is a not-for-profit
organization working to eliminate the stigma associated with sexual
and gender minority status and to ensure that the needs of the LGBTI
community are competently met by those responsible for out
education, health, and well-being. True Colors sponsors the largest
sexual minority youth conference in the nation.

Project100 The Hartford Community Center is dedicated to serving
the needs of the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and Intersex

SIECUS-the Sexuality Information and Education Council of
the United States-has served as the national voice for sexuality
education, sexual health, and sexual rights for almost 40 years.

September 17, 1994 in conjunction with the international
celebration of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Stonewall Riots.
