Periodical and Newspaper Articles
Search the electronic databases available through our Web site in the library, or from home,  for current articles on global warming. Use search terms such as: global warming, energy, conservation or alternative sources of energy such as; solar, wind, biofuels or water power. If you can't find what you are looking for, remember to ask a librarian.

Energy Audits are a great way to learn how to conserve fuel. A certified person can rate your energy consumption and make suggestions on how to save energy.

Connecticut Natural Gas
On site energy audits are performed to provide recommendations of energy conservation measures. Each audit includes a review of the dwellings energy consumption pattern, air infiltration characteristics, the number of inhabitants and other variables affecting energy consumption. There is no charge for qualified/identified hardship customers. Audits are delivered through the Community Action Program (CAP) agencies.

ConnSave, a private firm, will provide a free educational program for community groups, libraries or civic organizations.
