The Sheff v. O'Neill lawsuit was filed fourteen years ago, when plaintiff Milo Sheff was in the fourth grade. On January 22, 2003, the parties involved agreed on a four-year plan, which the General Assembly approved on February 25th. In 1989, Milo was a student in the Hartford school system, but the issues raised in the case –segregation, racial and ethnic isolation, and the quality of education in urban schools – apply to the entire state.  What progress has been made?  What is the plan until 2007?  Following is a list of print and electronic resources for those interested in Sheff v. O'Neill, equal educational opportunity, and school finance.
