American Express
Several interactive tools are available from the small business section of the American Express Web site.

The Beehive
This site, maintained by the nonprofit One Economy Corporation, includes a business plan tool so you can create, revise, and store your document online. You must register to use this tool, but registration is free.

Bplans.com
This site has more than 60 free sample business plans as well as some business planning tools, including a cash flow calculator and a starting costs calculator. Sample advertising, marketing, and Web site development plans and mission statements also are available. Business, market, and sales planning software from Palo Alto Software is for sale at this site.

BRS Center for Business Planning
These plans are winners of The MOOT CORP® Competition, in which MBAs from the best business schools in the world present their business plans to panels of investors. The investors then choose the best new ventures. Business, market, and sales planning software from Business Resources Software is for sale at this site.

CCH Business Owner's Toolkit
From Commerce Clearinghouse, the business owner's toolkit offers "total know-how for small business." Downloadable checklists, model business plans, forms, and other documents are found under Business Tools. The Small Business Guide presents information you need to make your small business a success. HR (Human Resources) tools also are available.

Learnthat
This popular Web site has many free articles and online courses and tutorials in a variety of business, certification, computer, finance, house, Internet, and lifestyle topics. There are several business tutorial categories from which to choose.
