President of The Connecticut Forum, was master of ceremonies for this
event.

Stuart Lamson of Bank Square
Book in Mystic returned as the bookseller for the 2003 Awards. Eighteen
authors signed their books for guests.

Hartford’s City Hall was the
elegant venue for the Connecticut Book Awards again this year.

Chair of the Design panel and
Emeritus Advisor of the Connecticut Center for the Book Wendell Minor
presented the award to Jessica Helfand of Falls Village for Reinventing
the Wheel.

Guests relished a splendid hors
d’oeuvres buffet.
