In a society where time is measured in nanoseconds, handheld devices provide instant access to information and images from around the world, and business developments in foreign lands such as China and Saudi Arabia have immediate impact in the United States, we truly live in a global economy. Whether we realize it or not, this global economy includes Hartford. But are we in danger of being left behind? In this program, local leaders discuss how Hartford fits into the global economy and what challenges and opportunities we face in the coming years with a particular focus on how we can compete for jobs, talent, and capital.
