Matthew K. Poland, chief executive officer, Hartford Public Library, recently joined Thea Montanez, Hartford Public Library Board of Directors vice chair, Charles LeConche, business manager from Connecticut Laborers’ District Council, and children from West Middle School in Hartford to celebrate the Laborers’ generous donation of new carpeting and installation at Hartford Public Library’s Mark Twain Branch. The celebration, which took place on Thursday, January 28, was attended by many community residents who frequent the library and greatly appreciated the donation.
