In Observance of World Food Day, Hartford Public Library has prepared this Web page to complement our week long food collection by FoodShare and our lunchtime program on October 16, 2006. Through displays and handouts you will learn how you can help fight hunger locally. Here you will connect with organizations and materials that focus on feeding the hungry with whole grains. At the lunchtime program, representatives from the Hispanic Health Council and Hartford Food Systems spoke about food security, food insecurity and hunger in Hartford.
