Support the Library
The Hartford Public Library’s mission is to promote and support literacy and learning, to provide free and open access to information and ideas, and to help people participate in our democratic society.
Our focus is connecting people to the Library’s collections and programs. The books, the staff expertise, technology and other resources are means through which we empower people. Children, families, immigrants and refugees, adults of all ages who live and work in the City of Hartford make use of the Library in many ways. There are 650,000 visits to the library annually.
The Support the Library Web pages are under construction. Please call with any questions 860-695-6360. Thank you.
