Independent Study Program
Take charge of your learning today! Make your own schedule and learn at your own pace in a welcoming environment. Hartford Public Library offers a range of self-study resources: computer programs, DVDs, and CDs, all specifically designed to help you improve your skills with reading, math, typing, and to prepare you for your GED. Instruction with all resources is provided.
In order to best guide you in your choice of material, all participants will first need to register.
Registration and
Orientation
Mondays
- Thursdays 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Saturdays - 10 a.m. to
4 p.m.
Sundays - 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
After registration you can come and study on your own anytime the library is open. Trained mentors will be on-site every day, for those who require additional assistance.
