ESOL Classes
Free English language classes for
speakers of other languages are offered at the Hartford Public
Library in collaboration with Hartford Adult Education. Class space

The library can provide other options for learning English, such as
training with special resources (videos, audiocassettes, computer
programs). A
directory of city wide English language services to
speakers of other languages is also available. For more information,
please call: (860) 695-6337.
Citizenship Test and Naturalization Interview
During your interview, your ability to
read, write, and speak in English will be tested. You will be required to
answer questions about your application and you will also be given a civics
test (a test of U.S. History and Government.) The following exercises will
help you prepare for your citizenship exam. Your actual test may have
questions that are not on these exercises.
