You must pay both an execution fee and a passport application fee when applying for a U.S. Passport.

Routine Service-within 6 weeks
Check 1: $25 Payable to Hartford Public Library
Check 2: $75 (Under Age 16 $60) Payable to U.S. Department of State
Expedited Service- within 2-3 weeks (Add $60 Per application)
Check 1: $25 Payable to Hartford Public Library
Check 2: $135 (Under Age 16 $120) Payable to U.S. Department of State
Expedited Service with Express Mail within 14 calendar days
(Add $60 Per application and 2-Way Overnight delivery)
Check 1: $41.50 Payable to Hartford Public Library
Check 2: $149.85 (Under Age 16 $134.85) Payable to U.S. Department of State
Passport renewal application is mailed by the applicant.

For those with proof of departure in less than two weeks, we recommend applying in person at the Connecticut Passport Agency.
