How to Use a Flash Drive
All Hartford Public Library computers have two USB ports in the front of the computer tower. Remove the cap and plug the flash drive in the USB port.

will appear in the bottom right corner of your screen, once the flash drive is connected. Double click on the My Computer icon on the desktop and the “removable drive” will appear. Double click on the “removable drive” to open. You can now save to the “removable drive”.

When done, double click on the green arrow icon and click Stop and then OK. You will see a message saying the USB device can be safely removed.
