Hartford Public Library’s Security Officer Training Program is approved by the State of Connecticut and conducted by a certified instructor. The successful completion of this one day program will qualify candidates to apply for a Security Officer ID card, issued by the State of Connecticut Department of Emergency Services & Public Protection. (C.G.S. Sec 29-161q)

Hartford Public Library will be offering this program once a month at our Downtown Library on the dates listed below.

CLASS DATES (Classes run from 9 am - 5 pm)

o Wednesday, January 15, 2020                 Registration deadline: Monday, January 13, 2020
 
o Wednesday, February 19, 2020               Class is full, please sign up for our March or April class.
 
 

Due to the Library’s temporary closure, the March and the April classes have been canceled. Existing registrations can be transferred to the next scheduled class—dates to be determined. We will post more information on this page as it becomes available.

 
 
Please select the date that you would like to attend, and return this form with a check or money order for $100.00* made out to Hartford Public Library. The registration form and check can be mailed in or brought in to the Library (adress listed below).
