To collect, preserve, and make available for research materials relating to the history, literature, and culture of Hartford, Connecticut.


Hours

Hartford History Center, located on the third floor of the Downtown Library, is open Tuesday through Saturday, 1:00-5:00 p.m.

…AGE, a dynamic public art collaboration among Greater Hartford cultural organizations and a component of the national Age in America project, will be on display along the walkway between Hartford Pubic Library and the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art. Companion exhibit in the Hartford History Center.
