The Library on Wheels is committed to bringing literature, resources, and a sense of community to all neighborhoods in the city of Hartford.

We aspire to connect residents to their nearest HPL branch and to provide services for those who do not have convenient access to a library in their neighborhood.

The Library on Wheels attends community events by request and is open to partnerships with community organizations for weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits.

We offer:

• Library card registration 
• Programming (in collaboration with host)
• Library books (English and Spanish)
• Free books, DVDs, CDs (no card required) 
• Information on library events and services 
• Other library materials
