The Downtown Library, 500 Main Street, is open Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Barbour and Dwight Branches are open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Camp Field and Albany Branches are open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The brand new Park Street Library @ the Lyric will open to the public this fall.
From the Downtown Library, you can use a computer; fax, copy, print or scan; check out materials; and, make an appointment for Passports, Municipal IDs, Notary Service, or to visit The American Place.The Hartford History Center is open Monday - Thursday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or by appointment.
