Hartford Public Library offers unique resources and engaging learning opportunities for nonprofits aimed at capacity building and fundraising.

The Library maintains a core collection of continuously updated materials in multiple formats that address the specific needs of local nonprofit, grassroots and faith-based organizations.

Our nonprofit workshops are conducted by expert consultants in their fields, local leaders, and attorneys and many are tailored to the specific needs of nonprofit managers, staff, board members and other key stakeholders.

We provide tools, resources, and information that will help nonprofit organizations fulfill their missions.

Join us for a dynamic panel conversation designed to support smaller and emerging nonprofit organizations in Greater Hartford. This event will bring together representatives from different foundations to share insights into the philanthropic landscape.

Panelists will discuss different types of funding, how to build meaningful relationships with funders, and what to expect from grantmaking processes. Whether you're new to fundraising or looking to strengthen your approach, this moderated discussion - with time for audience Q&A - will offer practical guidance and open the door to deeper connections.
